Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Sr. Portal/Healtheintent Clinical Informatics Analyst to lead patient portal initiatives, interoperability platforms, and data exchange across care settings.

The role drives adoption, workflow design, and population health strategies using HealtheIntent and related technologies. You will collaborate with clinical, IT, and operations teams to optimize patient engagement, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Allied Health, Healthcare Informatics, IT, or related field; equivalency considered.
• 7+ years in clinical informatics, physician EHR training/onboarding, workflow adoption, or related healthcare tech roles; or 5+ years with degree.
• Experience training physicians on Oracle Health Cerner workflows and supporting provider onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient engagement, interoperability, and health information exchange initiatives with limited supervision.
• Gather requirements, analyze workflows, test, implement, optimize, and sustain patient portal and interoperability solutions.
• Develop workflow docs, business requirements, test scripts, implementation plans, and recommendations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, escalate barriers, and ensure alignment with priorities.
