Job summary

Beyond Blue is seeking a Senior Financial Navigator to lead advanced patient financial navigation services, reducing barriers to care and guiding patients through insurance coverage, financial assistance programs, and payment options.

You will manage complex cases, ensure HIPAA compliance, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical leadership, and community partners to improve patient access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in patient financial services, revenue cycle, healthcare billing, or financial counseling.
• All experience must be paid and in the same related field; volunteer work not counted.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial counseling on complex insurance benefits and financial responsibility.
• Lead assessments of eligibility for financial assistance and charity care in escalated cases.
• Process and track financial assistance and charity care applications with accurate documentation.
