Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Nurse Assistant program.
• Completion of Medical Corpsman program.
• Completion of EMT program.
• Enrollment in a recognized School of Nursing with the first semester of clinical education completed.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reports, and documents patient data, vitals, intake/outtake, and specimen collections.
• Obtains blood samples by venipuncture and performs 12-lead EKG."
• Provides patient hygiene, mobility support, feeding assistance, and coordination with the care team as directed.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient safety protocols; maintains privacy and infection control.

Education

Nurse Assistant program / Medical Corpsman program / EMT program (or enrollment in nursing program with first semester completed)
