Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of general healthcare experience OR 1 year of experience with clinical rotation OR 1 year of experience with a health sciences bachelor degree.
• Basic arrhythmia course completion required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care and activities of daily living.
• Transports cardiac monitored patients within the hospital.
• Assists with IV insertion, catheterization and wound care as instructed by a nurse.
• Documents in the medical record according to established procedures.
• Maintains safety and supports department-based quality initiatives.
