Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston seeks a Senior Patient Financial Services Representative to serve as a key liaison for patients, families and departments on revenue cycle matters.

You will handle billing inquiries across Hospital, Professional and Home Health services, assist with unapplied cash and payment plans, and support Epic training as a department Super User. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience in hospital-related billing, claims follow-up or hospital coding.
• Experience using patient accounting systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement, coding guidelines, and government payer rules.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with billing/insurance/charge/referral questions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve customer inquiries.
• Identify trends that could indicate inappropriate billing and assist in corrective actions.
• Support SBO environment across Hospital, Professional, and Home Health Billing.
• Coordinate with Cash team to resolve unapplied cash and payment plans.
• Train and support Epic as the department Super User with IT/Instructional Design guidance.
