Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative III to serve as the first point of contact for patients, physicians and staff, scheduling appointments with professionalism and courtesy. You will greet VIP patients, answer calls, and route to level II as needed, using Allscripts and Centricity to retrieve information and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years scheduling experience in medical practices or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with exceptional customer service.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments accurately.
• Transfer to level II agents when needed.
• Use physician templates and guidelines in scheduling.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security.
• Assist with concierge scheduling and patient communications.
• Retrieve information using clinic/hospital software.
