Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative III in Louisville, KY to serve as the first contact for VIP patients and providers. You will schedule appointments and manage urgent referrals with professional communication and a concierge approach across multiple groups.

Responsibilities include answering calls, using Allscripts and Centricity, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while delivering an excellent patient experience in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering compassionate patient centered care.
• Ability to schedule VIP appointments across multiple groups.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls with exceptional customer service.
• Schedule new, return, internal employee, and referring provider VIP appointments.
• Review website appointment requests and coordinate scheduling concierge style.
• Schedule patient appointments using access center technologies per physician templates.
• Monitor scheduling documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Determine appropriate physicians for non-directed referrals.
• Reschedule patients as needed and handle non-clinical inquiries.
• Maintain patient expectations for visits and excellent service.
