Responsibilities

• Patient Intake, Registration & Documentation: audits records and documentation for accuracy.
• Administrative & Technology Operations: compiles reports, troubleshoots system issues, and supports peers.
• Case Management Tasks: audits referrals and supports escalations.
• Financial Counseling: conducts financial reviews and mentors staff.
• Insurance & Contract Coordination: troubleshoots complex cases and educates peers on insurance contract nuances.
• Inquiries & Patient Concerns: handles escalations and analyzes trends.
• Kiosk: analyzes performance and trains staff on patient kiosks.
• Patient Communication & Advocacy: handles sensitive concerns, audits logs, and advocates for patient needs.
• Referrals: audits referral workflows and mentors staff.
• Scheduling: schedules surgeries and verifies readiness.
• Transport: solves transport issues and audits logs.
• HIM Coordination: liaises with HIM on merges and audits MRNs.
• Utilization Review Coordination: supports escalations for medical necessity.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
