Job summary

Banner Health in Worland, Wyoming is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Registration professional. This role schedules patients for outpatient, inpatient or recurring procedures, verifies insurance, generates estimates, and provides financial counseling to patients prior to service.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate patient data, compliance, and a smooth patient flow in a hospital setting under Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Must have Patient Access or Medical/Health registration experience.
• Must be able to verify insurances and provide financial counseling prior to date of service.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for outpatient, inpatient or recurring procedures using scheduling systems.
• Verify insurance and obtain/validate pre-authorizations.
• Provide financial clearance including insurance verification, estimates and counseling.
• Educate patients on services and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within regulatory guidelines.
