• 1–3 years of experience in patient access or revenue cycle.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work on-call and after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and verify medical necessity or compliance.
• Collect and input insurance information and demographics.
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education materials.
• Screen eligibility and enter benefits data for POS and billing.
• Develop training materials and conduct staff education on processes.
• Assist with staff scheduling and on-call coverage.
