Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Sr. Patient Navigator in North Carolina to ensure patients access life‑changing medications through insurance verification, prior authorizations, and appeals.

You will educate patients and providers on access, coverage, and reimbursement, while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and accurate recordkeeping. The role supports patient access programs and collaborates with field teams, with occasional travel to HQ locations in Morrisville, NC or Jeffersonville, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years in healthcare access delivery or management is preferred.
• Experience with insurance reimbursement, patient access, or patient education is valued.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and payer processes (HIPAA rules a plus).

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with benefit investigations and prior authorization tracking.
• Educate on access, coverage, and reimbursement programs to patients and HCPs.
• Build trusted relationships and provide timely, compassionate support.
• Collaborate with client field teams and follow SOPs and guidelines.
• Document activities thoroughly in the Valeris system and ensure compliance.
