Job summary

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an Access Coordinator III to serve as a patient resource for scheduling and billing questions. The role supports comprehensive patient data collection, timely and accurate billing, and coordination of patient care activities within ICE | CORE PA Float.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare setting. CHAA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CHAA certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments; handle billing questions.
