Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Technical Section Supervisor to lead the automated testing, microbiology, blood bank and pathology sections. Under the direction of the Laboratory Technical Operations Manager, you will supervise staff, handle staffing, training and daily directions, and participate on the Laboratory Management Team.

The role requires CLIA General Supervisor credentials and HT(ASCP) or equivalent certification, with at least three years of clinical lab tech experience and

Qualifications

• CLIA General Supervisor requirements.
• HT(ASCP) or equivalent certification or licensure.
• At least 3 years of clinical lab technical experience.
• Laboratory supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate technical activities across Automated Testing, Microbiology, Blood Bank and Pathology sections.
• Review methods and procedures; propose changes to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate staffing, onboarding, competence, and ongoing staff development.
• Ensure section financial goals are met and maintain patient safety and quality of care.
