Globus Medical is seeking a Senior Patent Counsel to manage a broad IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks and copyrights. The role requires collaboration with product development, engineering, sales, finance and legal teams to shape strategy and drive value.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, patent bar membership, and 8+ years in patent prosecution and related activities, with strong communication and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctorate is required.
• Bar admissions: state bar and patent bar; PA bar in-house license preferred.
• At least eight years of experience in product clearances, patent procurement and prosecution.
• Transactional experience (e.g., due diligence, licensing, IP contracts) desired.

Aufgaben

• Provide timely clearance opinions for product development.
• Advise engineers and managers early in development to ensure clear design pathways.
• Aggressive filing and prosecution of Globus patent portfolio.
• Manage trademark and copyright filings as required.
• Contribute to IP portfolio planning and strategic vision.
• Assist in IP due diligence for M&A and licensing activities.
