BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Patent Agent for its Intellectual Property and Technology Division in Omaha, NE. The role involves drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, performing patentability assessments, and supporting due diligence.

Responsibilities include coordinating with foreign firms, managing client portfolios, and guiding paralegals. Candidates should have 5+ years of patent experience, a strong technical background in EE, and USPTO registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Experience managing patent prosecution docket.
• Ability to collaborate with partners and legal staff.
• Law firm or in-house IP experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration.

Responsibilities

• Draft and globally prosecute patent applications.
• Coordinate with foreign law firms for filing foreign patent applications.
• Maintain client patent portfolio and manage deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients for document processing and legalization.
• Review country requirements and obtain Foreign Filing Licenses.
• Delegate tasks effectively to paralegals and legal assistants.
