BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property and Technology Division in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, and supporting due diligence and freedom-to-operate assessments.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of patent experience, USPTO registration, and strong writing and organizational skills to manage deadlines and collaborate with clients and legal teams. Minneapolis-based role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Experience managing patent prosecution docket and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with legal teams and clients.
• U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications globally.
• Coordinate with foreign law firms for filing foreign patent applications.
• Maintain client patent portfolio and manage deadlines.
• Collaborate with partners and staff on patent matters.
• Meet a billable hour requirement of 1650 per year.
