Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We seek a Senior Parts Sales Specialist to assist customers, technicians and parts staff, aiming to meet monthly sales and gross profit targets while driving parts availability.

You will work with customers, outside salespersons and technicians to secure parts, prepare invoices and help maintain inventory, with emphasis on timely service and safety compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Five years’ heavy duty truck parts related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers, outside salespersons and technicians to fill parts requirements with minimal supervision or assistance.
• Prepares invoices for all over the counter sales and bills parts to repairs orders issued to shops.
• Assists in maintaining stock levels, receiving and shipping parts, and issuing local purchase orders.
• Maintains favorable relationships with customers by addressing needs and issues promptly.
• Escalates customer issues to supervisor when needed.
• Assists other Parts personnel in sourcing/locating complex customer parts requests or alternatives.
