Covenant Logistics is seeking a Director of Parts Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management for truck parts across the enterprise. You will optimize supplier relationships and procurement processes to minimize downtime and boost fleet performance.

Responsibilities include directing a multi-location parts team, visits to sites, inventory forecasting, and ensuring parts meet warranty guidelines. Collaboration with maintenance, fleet, and finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required, plus relevant experience.
• 7+ years in parts procurement or similar roles.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience operating multiple part locations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a parts procurement team across locations and implement strategy.
• Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and parts availability.
• Ensure purchased parts meet warranty guidelines from manufacturers.
• Coordinate with maintenance, fleet management, and finance teams.
• Manage PO processes including approvals, audits, and receipt of inventory.
• Develop standardized procurement policies and supplier relationships.
• Maintain SOX compliance and inventory controls.
