Job summary

Sokin in San Francisco is seeking a senior partnerships lead to build and scale platform partnerships, embedding Sokin's payments and treasury capabilities within partner ecosystems.

You will own deal lifecycle from outreach to negotiation and launch, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance. The role targets enterprise-grade opportunities, requiring deep payments experience and autonomy to shape a new function in the US market.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales in financial services or payments.
• Proven track record closing platform-scale deals embedding a product into a platform, ecosystem, or distribution channel.
• Existing activatable network at senior executive/C-suite level within target ecosystem.
• Deep experience structuring embedded or API-driven deals with the technical credibility to discuss integration architecture.
• Solid understanding of cross-border payments, FX, and US regulatory environment.
• Strong commercial and financial fluency; able to model deal economics and negotiate complex incentives.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a new function from scratch.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for payments, fintech innovation, and evolving digital ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and pursue high-leverage partnership opportunities across ecommerce, marketplaces, vertical software, and other platforms.
• Own the full deal lifecycle from outreach and business-case development through negotiation, legal close, integration scoping, and launch.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, GTM to ensure successful integration and execution.
• Work with Partnerships leadership to align on target segments and how US enterprise motion connects to EMEA/APAC programs.
