Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business-related field
• CPA license in principal place of business/home state, licensed J.D. or Enrolled Agent
• At least 10 years of corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting experience (planning, research, M&A)
• Experience in public accounting with focus on partnership taxation (8+ years)
• Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a full range of partnership tax services, including planning, research, compliance, allocations, and transactions
• Assist with new business development and tax issue recognition for existing clients
• Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
• Lead and manage complex engagements and expand services across client relationships
• Stay current on tax practices and changes in tax law
• Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns
• Coordinate tax service across lines of business for integrated client service
• May have people leadership responsibilities
