Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for its Private Equity Portfolio Company practice, joining the Partnership Tax team. You will advise clients on partnership tax planning, compliance, and M&A activities while leading teams and building client relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
CPA license or equivalent credential required.
At least 10 years of federal corporate tax compliance and M&A experience.
Experience in public accounting with focus on partnerships/LLCs.
Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on partnership tax planning, research, compliance, allocations, and transactions.
Assist with new business development and tax issue recognition.
Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members.
Lead complex engagements and manage client relationships with high-value tax advice.
Review complex tax returns and ensure consistency with firm policies.
Coordinate service across lines of business for integrated client service.
Possibly assume people leadership responsibilities.
