Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead partnership tax engagements for a Private Equity Portfolio Company practice. You will advise on planning, research, compliance, and M&A activities while developing staff and managing client relationships across cross-functional teams.

You will oversee complex tax issues, ensure quality deliverables, and coordinate with services across the firm to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
• CPA license in one's principal place of business/home state, licensed J.D. or Enrolled Agent.
• 10+ years of corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting experience in planning, research, and M&A.
• Public accounting experience with 8+ years focusing on partnership taxation.
• Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs.
• Strong communication skills; proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a full range of partnership tax services including planning, research, compliance, allocations and transactions.
• Assist with new business development and tax issue recognition for existing clients.
• Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members.
• Lead and manage client engagements with focus on high-value tax guidance and cross-sell opportunities.
• Keep up to date on tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Provide detailed review of complex tax returns and ensure accuracy.
