Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Senior Partner Resources Business Partner to align people strategies with business priorities from Seattle, WA. This role partners with stakeholders across corporate functions to strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and the partner experience.

You will translate enterprise objectives into practical actions, consult with leaders on talent and workforce planning, and lead change with an inclusive, data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience.
• Three or more years consulting with internal clients to identify business needs and solutions.
• Experience supporting corporate functions or complex, matrixed organizations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and connect with leaders at multiple levels.
• Experience influencing positive outcomes through judgment, consultation, and problem-solving.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and leading through change in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Experience using people and business data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and to understanding diverse perspectives.
• A strong desire to grow within the Partner Resources organization at Starbucks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partner Resources leaders, corporate function leaders, specialist teams, and cross-functional partners to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and programs.
• Serve as an advocate by listening to partner and leader needs and connecting partners with information and resources related to benefits, compensation, development, and other Partner Resources programs.
• Implement Partner Resources strategies, plans, and projects within aligned corporate functions, translating enterprise priorities into actionable steps.
• Influence leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent, performance, partner relations, workforce planning, change, and policies; build credibility and influence outcomes.
• Analyze business and people data to identify insights, assess trends, prepare recommendations, and measure progress with clear reports and presentations.
• Lead through change by navigating ambiguity and supporting leaders through transformation with an inclusive approach to planning and implementation.
