We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Channel team! As a Senior Partner Account Executive, you will manage regional partners critical to scaling our business through new customer acquisition. Akamai is a channel-first company, focused on building trusted relationships with partners to extend reach and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with our Trusted Advisor ecosystem to build relationships, generate interest, and drive new pipeline development.
  • Recruit relevant partners to support local sales teams.
  • Develop partner-specific plans to grow the North American business.
  • Evangelize Akamai's technology to new and prospective partners to acquire new business.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for stakeholders and partners, ensuring mutual success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, enablement, legal, and pre-sales.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, Bachelor's degree, with experience working with Avant and Telarus.
  • Solid expertise in channel sales management and/or business development in the Cloud Security space.
  • Strong relationship-building skills at CXO level.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze data for actionable insights.

Compensation

The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role ranges from $189,800 to $394,200 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. Compensation may include equity awards and stock plans, along with comprehensive benefits.
