Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
• 1–2 years in semiconductor FEOL/MOL/BEOl, CMP slurry and metrology preferred.
• Strong analytical, experimental, and chemistry knowledge.
• Experience with silica abrasives, colloidal science, corrosion mechanisms, and electrochemistry.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, synthesis, and surface modification of silica particles with precise control.
• Develop BEOL CMP slurry and buff chemical formulations to meet specs.
• Conduct fundamental studies on slurry chemistries and films to improve performance.
• Design methodologies for slurry formulation development and optimization.
• Apply knowledge of organic/inorganic chemistry, interfacial chemistry, and surfactants.
• Support emerging materials and next-generation technology development.
• Collaborate with engineering, lab staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical consultation to Applications, R&D, Process Development, and Manufacturing.
• Perform literature reviews, IP searches, and contribute to patent filings.
• Maintain hands-on lab work and ensure data accuracy.
