Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or material science.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in a production lab environment.
• Experience in operating SEM/FIB equipment or willing to learn.
• Comfort with handling chemicals.
• Pilot line scale chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, data collection, time management and organizational skills.
• Understand DOE and be proficient in technical writing.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and use computer tools (PowerPoint, Excel, statistics software).
• Post-offer drug screening required; safety-focused position.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and commercialization of new post etch, post ash and post CMP cleaners and removers for advanced IC technologies.
• Assist in mixing, filtering, and documentation of new speciality cleaners and etchants for semiconductors.
• Assist with testing new cleaner formulations for shelf life and stability.
• Back up SEM/FIB and XRR operator
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wet Lab Supervisor
• Investigate and develop new chemical formulations for cleaning integrated circuit wafers
• Operate wet lab characterization tools
• Coordinate with formulated products staff on chemistry and hardware supply needs
• Chemical and wafer inventory tracking
