Job summary

Stellar Cyber is seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to own parser development for our AI-driven SecOps platform. You will design, build, and maintain parsing and normalization components turning raw security data into a unified schema used by detection and analytics engines.

You will lead framework decisions, optimize performance, and collaborate with detection, data, and integration teams while mentoring junior engineers and championing AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data parsing, integration, or log processing.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Ruby, or C++.
• Deep familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, syslog, and other log formats.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the parser framework and drive performance and reliability.
• Design schema mapping and normalization for diverse logs.
• Develop end-to-end parser integrations with detection and analytics teams.
• Mentor engineers and review code to grow independent owners.
