Job summary

DNA Partners, a leading international law firm in Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Senior Paralegal to support the Private Client Services (Trusts & Estates) Practice Group. You will handle sophisticated trust and estate administration, probate proceedings, and fiduciary tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners.

The ideal candidate has five years of trusts and estates paralegal experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with estate administration

Qualifications

• Five years of trusts and estates paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience with estate administration, probate, fiduciary accounting, and tax preparation.
• Proficiency with ONESOURCE Trust & Estate Administration and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with trust and estate administration, probate proceedings, and fiduciary tax matters.
• Gather, organize, and analyze asset information for probate filings, estate administration, and estate tax reporting.
• Coordinate asset valuations with appraisers, financial institutions, and other professionals.
• Serve as a liaison among attorneys, fiduciaries, family members, and advisors.
• Prepare probate filings and electronic court submissions in multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with preparing and filing estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns.
