Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP in Washington, DC, seeks a Tax Senior Paralegal to support Client Services in the Private Client Services (Trusts & Estates) Practice Group. You will handle probate filings, estate tax reporting, asset valuations, and coordination with attorneys, clients, and outside counsel.

The role requires at least five years of paralegal experience in trusts and estates, a four-year degree, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Formación

• Minimum of five years of paralegal experience in trusts and estates.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients, family offices, and financial institutions.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software.
• Experience with ONESOURCE Trust & Estate Administration, Estate Val, Gift Val, Estate Planning Tools, Superforms, and IRS website.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, review, and organize asset information for probate proceedings and estate tax reporting.
• Assist with valuation of estate and trust assets and coordinate appraisals of real estate and tangible property.
• Coordinate communications among attorneys, estate and trust representatives, client families, partnerships, corporations, and family business representatives.
• Prepare and coordinate probate filings and estate tax returns in jurisdictions throughout the United States, including electronic probate filings.
• Prepare and file IRS forms, compile supporting documentation, and assist with responses to IRS audit requests.
• Prepare annual estate and trust accountings.
