Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of paralegal experience in a litigation-focused firm.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with trial support, discovery management, and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor direct reports with regular feedback and development plans.
• Prepare performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with attorneys, vendors, and staff on deadlines, trial logistics, and document workflows.
• Maintain current understanding of federal and state court rules and ensure team compliance.
• Assist in staffing and workload distribution across the paralegal team.
• Recommend improvements to internal procedures and document management workflows.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of paralegals.
• Track billable and non-billable hours accurately.
• Address staffing needs and HR concerns and coordinate with HR for resolutions.
• Provide guidance and training to lawyers and case teams on paralegal best practices.
• Implement department policies and best practices.
• Manage an active caseload and contribute to paralegal duties.
