Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate
• 3-years paralegal experience required
• Proficient software experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
• Proficient technology and file maintenance skills
• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Initiative and good judgment in working with public, employees, and administrators
• Excellent clerical skills with productivity under pressure
• Ability to follow procedures with minimal supervision

• Familiarity with Board Policy and legal statutes
• Experience working in family law and/or educational organization (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform highly responsible and confidential administrative work to support the Office of the General Counsel. Research and analyze legal statutes, and family and governmental codes in order to respond to campus, departmental, and parent inquiries.
• Review and analyze documents and respond to inquiries; assist with document management and filing for the office of the General Counsel.
