Job summary

Altarum seeks an experienced paralegal to join the Office of the General Counsel in Novi, MI, hybrid role. You will support contracts, governance, records, and regulatory compliance while handling confidential information with discretion.

A minimum of five years' relevant experience and notary licensure are preferred. You will review agreements, conduct legal research, coordinate Board activities, and assist with procurement and insurance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant paralegal experience.
• Notary public licensure or eligibility to become licensed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Counsel with complex transactional matters.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for review.
• Review governance documents and coordinate Board activities.
• Oversee records, licensing, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Assist with insurance, risk management, and procurement activities.
• Prepare materials and minutes for Board meetings.
