Job summary

Sagent is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our Legal team and support corporate governance, commercial contracting, regulatory matters, and litigation in a fast-paced mortgage technology environment.

The role collaborates with attorneys and cross-functional teams to manage processes, maintain records, and deliver timely legal support while handling sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification with relevant experience.
• Typically 7+ years of progressive paralegal or legal operations experience in corporate or law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, document management, contract processes, and corporate recordkeeping.
• Ability to manage complex assignments, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced paralegal support on corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment, litigation, and compliance matters.
• Support the full contract lifecycle from intake to retention and signature.
• Maintain corporate records, governance documents, and board materials; ensure filings are up to date.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research; summarize findings for attorney review.
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, audits, and information requests; manage production.
