The role involves legal research, draft filings, contract lifecycle support, e-billing administration, and liaison with outside counsel under the Chief Legal and Risk Officer. Requires deep paralegal experience in mortgage practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of paralegal experience in financial services or related firms.
• Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
• In-house legal team or law firm background required.
• Familiarity with governance and risk management oversight.
• Experience as contract administrator is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review pleadings, filings, and related documents.
• Coordinate intake for subpoenas, requests, and responses with stakeholders.
• Support audits and regulatory exams by compiling documentation.
• Maintain matters in case management and document systems.
• Draft filings, memoranda, and internal reports under attorney supervision.
• Support contract lifecycle management and e-billing administration.
