Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Senior Paralegal to partner with our Legal team on commercial and consumer lending, payments, and Banking-as-a-Service initiatives. The role blends legal operations, contract management, and regulatory support in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will draft and review agreements, manage templates, fund loan closings, and support litigation and subpoenas while helping scale legal processes. A paralegal certificate and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents and third-party contracts with attorneys as needed.
• Review and manage template agreements including NDAs, online banking agreements, ACH service agreements, wind-down letters.
• Review loan closing packages for funding and assess legal/regulatory considerations for marketing materials and disclosures.
• Support attorneys with legal documentation, contract administration, and regulatory exams and audits.
• Coordinate with business teams to gather information and facilitate efficient legal review.
