Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is hiring a Paralegal and Legal & Compliance Operations Manager to own the contract lifecycle, corporate governance records, and healthcare compliance programs. The role includes Open Payments reporting, policy administration, and vendor relationships, with significant cross-functional visibility.

The position is a hybrid, in Somerville, MA office, offering a broad remit beyond a traditional paralegal role and potential for impact across Legal and Compliance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years in paralegal, legal ops, or compliance ops, with at least three supporting in-house function.
• Experience in pharma/biotech/medical device with knowledge of key compliance statutes.
• Hands-on experience administering a CLSM and e-signature platform.
• Proven ownership of recurring regulatory reporting from data collection to submission.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract lifecycle system and template library, and track obligations.
• Draft routine agreements from templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, etc.).
• Coordinate review across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Quality and Privacy.
• Maintain contract repository, signature matrix, and renewal calendar.
• Support clinical, payer and vendor agreements and related onboarding docs.
• Own Open Payments reporting calendar and attestation workflow.
• Manage state transparency filings and physician disclosure obligations.
• Oversee compliance policy library and annual training program.
• Prepare Compliance Committee materials and support Board reporting.
• Monitor and audit activities and maintain confidential investigations.
