Job summary

Sempra is seeking a senior paralegal to deliver high‑complexity outputs with advanced technical, procedural, and subject‑matter expertise. This role ensures accuracy across filings, transaction packages, and trial preparations without direct supervision.

You will handle corporate governance deliverables, prepare filings including formations, apostilles, notarizations, and manage information systems to support budgets and outside counsel interactions.

Qualifications

• Requires 8 years of related experience.
• Experience in a corporate legal department or large law firm.
• Ability to independently resolve complex procedural or research challenges.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to legal filings.

Responsibilities

• Identifies underlying issues and works independently on complex assignments.
• Prepares drafts of corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and governance deliverables.
• Prepares, submits, and follows up on corporate filings (formation, apostilles, notarizations).
• Leads information management initiatives for legal data and documents across systems.
• Conducts pre- and post-litigation steps and reviews matters.
• Reviews communications and drafts documents for legal leads.
