Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering to place a Senior Trust & Estates Tax Paralegal in a fully remote role supporting a sophisticated Private Wealth practice. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in estate administration, gift and fiduciary tax matters, and high-net-worth client services.

You will work with attorneys, clients, and advisors on complex wealth planning and estate matters while handling multi-generational trusts and tax returns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Trust & Estates paralegal experience, 10+ years preferred.
• Significant estate, gift, and fiduciary tax matters experience.
• Strong trust administration and probate experience.
• Proficiency with trust/estate accounting software (GEMS, BNA, ProSystems, EVP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare estate, gift, fiduciary, and trust tax returns.
• Manage estate and trust administration from inception to completion.
• Assist with probate administration and related court filings.
• Perform trust accounting and maintain financial records.
• Reconcile brokerage statements, K-1s, and 1099s.
• Handle post-death trust funding and administration.
• Communicate with clients, trustees, and financial advisors.
• Support complex multi-generational wealth and estate planning matters.

Senior Trust & Estates Tax Paralegal | Fully Remote | $90K-$130K+

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious national law firm to identify a Senior Trust & Estates Tax Paralegal for a fully remote opportunity supporting a sophisticated Private Wealth practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced trusts and estates professional who has deep expertise in estate administration, gift tax returns, fiduciary tax matters, trust accounting, and high-net-worth client services. You'll work closely with attorneys, clients, financial advisors, and fiduciaries on complex estate and wealth planning matters.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare estate, gift, fiduciary, and trust tax returns
• Manage estate and trust administration matters from inception through completion
• Assist with probate administration and related court filings
• Perform trust accounting and maintain financial records
• Reconcile brokerage statements, K-1s, and 1099s
• Handle post-death trust funding and administration
• Communicate directly with clients, trustees, and financial advisors
• Support complex multi-generational wealth and estate planning matters

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Trust & Estates Paralegal experience (10+ years preferred)
• Significant experience with estate, gift, and fiduciary tax matters
• Strong trust administration and probate experience
• Experience with trust and estate accounting software such as GEMS, BNA, ProSystems, or EVP
• Ability to manage sophisticated client relationships and multiple priorities
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• $90,000-$130,000+ salary range (flexibility for highly qualified candidates)
