Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in print manufacturing, commercial printing, or paper packaging.
• Deep understanding of paper grades, manufacturing processes, and print pre-press through finishing.
• ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and PO creation.
• Proven negotiation skills in volatile commodity markets and vendor partnerships.
• Familiarity with FSC, SFI, and PEFC certifications.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: source, evaluate, onboard mills, brokers, printers, converters; monitor performance and conduct vendor reviews.
• Technical Print & Paper Procurement: review specs to determine paper stocks; manage procurement for litho-lamination, flexo, digital, gravure.
• Inventory & Demand Planning: forecast paper demand, maintain JIT inventory; monitor pulp/paper market trends and price volatility.
