Job summary

IPG is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support Global Sourcing with category management for paper-based materials and liners. You will liaise with R&D, Plant Operations, Quality, and Procurement to run trials, engage suppliers, and drive sourcing initiatives.

The role covers data-driven analysis, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization, with exposure to international suppliers. Requires 3+ years in purchasing, strong negotiation, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing raw materials, preferably paper-based.
• Strong negotiation, planning, and communication skills.
• Experience finding, qualifying, auditing suppliers (international).

Responsibilities

• Support category strategies and sourcing initiatives for raw materials.
• Coordinate material trials, supplier engagement, and changes across stakeholders.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and consolidate supplier data.
• Develop sourcing roadmaps to ensure material availability for ops and launches.
• Monitor supplier KPIs and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
• Perform market analysis and risk assessment for liners and paper.
