Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Applied Engineering.
  • Experience in new product introduction or product launch.
  • Ability to lead project management and production support with focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Strong project management skills to guide teams.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and functional groups.
  • Engineering support for equipment upgrades and initiatives to improve availability.
  • Track record leading capital investment projects to boost safety and productivity.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools for decision making.
  • Experience leading others to achieve launch objectives with KPI awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Major Model Engineer Lead, coordinating year-over-year changepoints.
  • Collaborate with Pilot teams to support changepoint execution.
  • Develop strategies for paint shop changes and model initiatives on the production floor.
  • Review 3D concepts with design teams and develop executable plans.
  • Support color selection negotiations and communicate capabilities.
  • Coordinate trials for changepoints ensuring milestones alignment.
  • Collaborate on equipment refurbishment and future projects.
  • Support production through safety and productivity improvement projects.
  • Report project status to shop and executive levels.
