Job summary

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana is seeking a Sr. Engineer to lead the Paint Pilot team across shops, driving major and minor projects.

You will coordinate with North American and Japanese design teams, review 3D concepts, and develop actionable plans to prepare the Paint Shop for future vehicle changes. You will bring a Bachelor's in Engineering, expertise in product launches, and strong problem solving using continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with new product introduction or product launches.
• Ability to lead projects with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Strong cross-department collaboration and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Paint Pilot Engineer activities as the engineering lead for major and minor future projects.
• Collaborate with North American and Japanese design teams to review 3D concepts and specs.
• Develop plans for paint shop changes and model initiatives for the production floor.
• Coordinate trial activities and ensure alignment with milestones.
• Support safety, quality and productivity improvements across the paint organization.
