Job summary

Verizon's Digital Marketing team is hiring a Search Engine Marketing Senior Strategist to lead paid search planning, investment and partner management. You will work with the digital marketing center of excellence to drive effectiveness and efficiencies, and guide evolution of SEM as an in-house capability.

The role involves managing SEM for multiple units, optimizing campaigns, and partnering with external search partners. Hybrid work location with a mix of office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant SEM experience.
• Experience with primary buying platforms and formats (Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Skai, Yahoo!/Bing, Performance Max, PLAs).
• Experience in search analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage SEM functions for multiple units within Verizon.
• Develop campaigns, bid strategies, optimization and channel management.
• Recommend changes to existing tech stacks and tools.
• Manage relationships with external search partners.
• Oversee execution of SEM campaigns.
• Leverage AI/LLM knowledge to connect consumers to commerce outcomes.
