Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. seeks a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta advertising, strategy, messaging, and testing. You will manage accounts end-to-end, lead client conversations, and drive retention and growth.

You will collaborate with copywriters, editors, and analysts to develop and optimize direct-response campaigns, VSLs, and funnels, leveraging AI tools while maintaining high strategic judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Set up and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Monitor budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences.
• Set up tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events, plus Calendly/Zapier integrations.
