Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to join the Children’s Integrated Therapies Service in Hillingdon. The post leads clinical practice, supports colleagues and contributes to service development, with a focus on autonomous working across multiple settings to support children and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 7 level).
• Confidence in clinical decision-making and autonomous practice.
• Experience in a Children’s Integrated Therapies Service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist, evidence-based OT assessment and intervention for 0–19 year olds.
• Manage a complex caseload with strong documentation and safeguarding.
• Develop outcome-focused care plans and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools, SEND and MDT colleagues.
• Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff and students.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
• Lead on clinical governance and professional standards.
