CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the paediatric psychology service at Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge. The post supports the MDT within the paediatric department and offers opportunities to develop clinical skills in a friendly, innovative team.

The role focuses on providing psychological thinking across the child and family journey, engaging flexibly with psychological engagement, talking and creative approaches to health and wellbeing, and

Qualifications

• Offer psychological thinking to all aspects of a child and family’s journey in this health setting.
• Be flexible in how psychological engagement, talking and creative approaches to health and wellbeing can be offered.
• Work with the MDT and community services so that young people are supported where their psychological needs can be best met.
• Consider equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work and ensure the young person’s and family’s voice is heard in the system.
• Take part in CPD, clinical governance forums and maintain and continue best practice in relation to local and national guidance.
