Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Children’s Integrated Therapies Service in Hillingdon. You will provide specialist, evidence-based assessment and intervention to children and young people aged 0–19, managing a complex caseload across schools, nurseries, homes and clinics.

The role emphasises autonomous practice, reflective clinical reasoning, and collaboration with families, schools and the wider MDT.

Qualifications

• Specialist paediatric occupational therapists with strong clinical decision-making.
• Must be able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to CPD and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist, evidence-based OT assessment and intervention to children and young people aged 0–19.
• Manage a complex caseload independently across schools, nurseries, homes and clinics.
• Develop clear, outcome-focused care plans with robust documentation.
• Mentor, supervise and train less experienced staff and contribute to service development.
