Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a skilled Enterprise PACS Administrator to deliver technical support across PACS, PowerScribe, and imaging software suites in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will train onboarding radiologists and technologists, and collaborate with Radiology and IS teams on system enhancements.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure accurate, timely operations and superb service to clinicians.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise PACS Administrator, this individual is expected to provide exemplary technical support to internal and external customers by performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology and all associated applications. This person will assist in full management and support of all radiology electronic systems, including but not limited to PACS, PowerScribe; the PowerConnect and Stratus software suites, View Point, Vitrea, Syngo.via, Radimetrics, and Viz.AI. This person is expected to facilitate the training of onboarding radiologists; as well as technologists, referring physicians and other clinical users. This person will be responsible for participating in the implementation of additions and changes within the organization and radiology associated applications, including software and hardware. This person will act as a liaison among the Radiology and Information Systems departments.

  • With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environment needs of all persons when administering care
Required Experience
  • 5 years experience in the management and support of healthcare information systems
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with radiology-specific health information systems
  • Experience with cloud-based archive applications and entailed processes
