Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a skilled PACS/IS specialist to provide outstanding technical support for radiology IT systems, including PACS, PowerScribe, and related software suites. You will train onboarding radiologists and technologists, while coordinating changes with IS.

The role requires collaboration across Radiology and IS departments and contributes to a nationally recognized healthcare network in the Los Angeles area. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in the management and support of healthcare information systems.
• Experience with radiology-specific health information systems is preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based archive applications and entailed processes.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise PACS Administrator, this individual is expected to provide exemplary technical support to internal and external customers by performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology and all associated applications. This person will assist in full management and support of all radiology electroninc systems, including but not limited to PACS, PowerScribe; the PowerConnect and Stratus software suites, View Point, Vitrea, Syngo.via, Radimetrics, and Viz.AI. This person is expected to facilitate the training of onboarding radiologists; as well as technologists, referring physicians and other clinical users. This person will be responsible for participating in the implementation of additions and changes within the organization and radiology associated applications, including software and hardware. This person will act as a liaison among the Radiology and Information Systems departments.
