Job summary

PIH Health in Whittier, CA, seeks an Enterprise PACS Administrator to provide expert technical support for radiology IT systems, including PACS and related software. You will train onboarding radiologists and technologists, implement changes, and serve as liaison between Radiology and IS teams in a dynamic hospital network.

The role requires strong knowledge of PACS workflows and vendor applications, with the ability to troubleshoot across hardware and software in a busy clinical environment.

Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise PACS Administrator, this individual is expected to provide exemplary technical support to internal and external customers by performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology and all associated applications. This person will assist in full management and support of all radiology electroninc systems, including but not limited to PACS, PowerScribe; the PowerConnect and Stratus software suites, View Point, Vitrea, Syngo.via, Radimetrics, and Viz.AI. This person is expected to facilitate the training of onboarding radiologists; as well as technologists, referring physicians and other clinical users.This person will be responsible for participating in the implementation of additions and changes within the organization and radiology associated applications, including software and hardware. This person will act as a liaison among the Radiology and Information Systems departments.
